Chengdu Kangbaoxing Cotton Textile Industry Co., Ltd. was reorganized and established as a private joint-stock textile and garment (printing and dyeing) enterprise in 2001 from the former state-owned Chengdu No. 2 Textile General Factory. The company possesses a complete industrial chain covering the processing, production and distribution of pure cotton combed yarn, grey cloth, waterproof, flame-retardant and breathable tarpaulin canvas, clothing fabrics, knitted underwear, student uniforms and bedding. It is an innovative and scientific and technological enterprise that simultaneously possesses the research and development, technology promotion and production and sales of new varieties of natural colored cotton and land long-staple cotton. The company has four wholly-owned production enterprises and one Sino-foreign joint venture, and has the right to conduct self-operated export business.
